When it comes to the behaviors, Jess, I believe you sold yourself short on your rankings of Customer First and Quality & Integrity Always- this is where you shine. When I read the description of each of these behaviors you embody this fully. I have never met someone at Philips who could reach out to a customer for a marketing engagement and get a yes as fast as you. This shows me that you have built trust with our customer base- a critical thing when the actual solution we sell has YOY declining NPS and satisfaction scores. Additionally, when I look at quality and integrity, you demonstrated that clearly when pushing back on sub-par marketing materials we received from the business for key launches.  How you found a new way of creating value with the feature briefs for eCM 4.5 in Q4 was a great example of this.

What are my strengths and what am I doing well: Jess is passionate and cares about our customers, our people, and our products. She is a great team player and is wise beyond her years. I know I can count on her to help my team so we can help our customers. Her work ethic is superior and so is her authenticity. I appreciate the opportunity to work with her and rely on her perspectives. She knows she can come to me on any subject and I can do the same. I asked Jess to mentor one of my employees, to guide her as she searches for her next career move. I trust and respect her enough to help our team members. We need more resources like Jess.

What can I do differently and/or develop further: As our organizations continue to change on a regular basis, we must stay the course. Don't let the distractions and poor decisions deter you from being you.

What can I do differently and/or develop further: Not take on too many projects at once. Ask for help. Trust your peers with tasks and projects.

What are my strengths and what am I doing well: Jess truly knows her business inside and out and has been pivotal in driving roadmap conversations with the business based on customer feedback and engagement. Not only has she been a strong asset from understanding the market, she is a strong market communicator who has initiated programs to help drive funnel. While helping to build funnel, activating demand generation programs, Jess also collaborates with customers on successful proof points, case studies, and being panelists with Philips on events with Becker’s. She manages these programs with a keen eye to detail to ensure flawless executions on whatever she is involved in.

 

What can I do differently and/or develop further: Jess is very talented and her skill sets are a strong asset to any team. I encourage Jess to continue to take the initiative on creating successful programs and sharing her best practices across her peers and with upper management.

Jess has repeatedly proven to be a consistent, valuable contributor since joining the MA&TC marketing team. Even more impressive is the fact that she is doing so while being remote from the team and supporting a business that some folks on the team don't fully understand. At Trusted Adviser in August, the success of the event was in large part thanks to Jess who took ownership of one of the keynote speakers and facilitating the ensuing discussion. Finally, it should be mentioned that Jess's proactive approach to volunteering ideas or being the lead on projects is something that was missing on the team beforehand. Since joining i think her behavior has become infectious and she has caused others to volunteer more as well :)
